Field Equipment Service Technicians - Nitco

NITCO (Northland Industrial Truck Company) is New England’s fastest growing distributor of materials handling and construction equipment. We are looking for highly motivated and experienced Technicians to join our team!
 
Responsibilities:
  • Above all, insure that safe practices are followed in all aspects of daily activities
  • Diagnose / troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
  • Coordinate all parts ordering and management of open work orders
  • Remove, replace, and repair major components of lift trucks, pallet trucks, sweepers/scrubbers, etc.
  • Perform routine services  and preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Driving requirements ranging from 2-3 hours per day
  • Perform on-site repairs in the field as needed in a fast paced environment
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer satisfaction
  • Work Schedule is full time, eight hours Monday-Friday, with occasional need for overtime hours

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:
  • Detail oriented, organized, and capable of working efficiently in a high pressure environment with minimal or no guidance
  • Minimum High School education or equivalent in addition to significant training in the mechanical field
  • Reasonable level of computer literacy
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service
