Position Summary:

As a Full-Time Grocery Store Lead Associate, you’ll play a key role in our grocery department, ensuring that everything runs smoothly. In addition to your regular duties as a Grocery Associate, you’ll take on minor supervisory responsibilities, such as assisting with training new team members and ensuring the department is well-organized and fully stocked. This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position that offers a fun, fast-paced work environment where you can grow and thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grocery Excellence: Assist with stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring all products are fresh and attractively presented.
  • Customer Engagement: Provide outstanding customer service by helping shoppers find products, answering questions, and offering recommendations.
  • Lead by Example: Take on minor supervisory tasks, such as training new associates and providing support to your team to maintain a positive and efficient work environment.
  • Inventory Management: Help with receiving and organizing deliveries, ensuring accurate inventory levels, and proper storage of products.

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Customer Service Skills: A friendly, outgoing personality and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Leadership Potential: Experience in a grocery or retail setting, with the ability to take on minor supervisory responsibilities.
  • Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and consistency.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual Skills: Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.
  • Legal Right to Work: Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Footwear Requirement: Must wear non-slip shoes for safety on the job; please note that these are not provided by the company.

Physical Requirements:
